This site has grown out of my frustration with the 2019 government of British Columbia, Canada trashing what our tourist media call Super Natural BC. The New Democratic Party (NDP) took power in 2017 and, I believe, should properly be called the New Destruction Party — “New” to distinguish it from the previous government which also trashed BC but didn’t make numerous promises to the contrary.

A few of my many protesting emails were answered with government-speak propaganda. I suspect that by now they’re dumped in junk or trash folders. Posting NDP atrocities against the environment on social media is time-consuming (due to volume), depressing, and for non-residents, mostly irrelevant. Individual posts do not show the timeline of continuous assault. Myself, I often gather information and timeline from scanning headlines. So, I thought, how about posting summaries of media headlines, with links for those who wish to dig deeper. (I have added detail when headlines are unclear. )

Because I also read and post about animal and environment issues in general, I’ve added additional categories to the BC government and Canada categories.

Most of my sources are alternative and social media, pinpointing issues not published in mainstream media. Thus this index IS NOT a comprehensive media survey and is biased toward holding accountable those who trash this Earth and its inhabitants.

Personally, I wish to use this index to support this Earth and its inhabitants. It will help me decide where NOT to put my vote, my money, my time, and my voice. I offer it publicly so others may choose to do the same.
